Name and No. of Posts
- Senior Ship Draftsman (Mechanical) – 5 nos.
- Senior Ship Draftsman (Electrical) – 4 nos.
- Senior Ship Draftsman (Electronics) – 1 nos.
- Junior Technical Assistant (Safety) – 1 nos.
Qualification and Experience
- Senior Ship Draftsman (Mechanical)
Qualification – Pass in SSLC and Three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks.
Experience – Minimum two years post qualification experience / training as Ship Draftsman
Desirable – Experience in Tribon modeling/Design experience in AutoCAD. - Senior Ship Draftsman (Electrical)
Qualification – Pass in SSLC and Three year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks.
Experience – Minimum two years post qualification experience / training as Ship Draftsman
Desirable – Experience in Tribon modelling/Design experience in AutoCAD. - Senior Ship Draftsman (Electronics)
Qualification – Pass in SSLC and Three year Diploma in Electronics / Electronics & Communication /Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks.
Experience – Minimum two years post qualification experience/training as Ship Draftsman
Desirable – Experience in Tribon modelling/Design experience in AutoCAD. - Junior Technical Assistant (Safety)
Qualification – Three year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) issued by a State Board of Technical Education with 60% of marks.
(OR) One year Diploma in Industrial Safety approved by State / Central Government
Experience – Minimum four years experience in Safety in a Public Sector Undertaking or a Factory after the three year Diploma in Engineering.
Desirable – Speaking of Malayalam.
Salary/ Pay of Scale
Pay Scale (W7) of Rs. 23500-77000/- and consist of Basic Pay, IDA, HRA and Allowances as admissible.
Mode of Selection
For the posts at Sl.Nos. 1 to 3 (Senior Ship Draftsman), the method of selection shall include Phase I, consisting of an Objective type online test (70 marks) and Phase II, consisting of Practical Test.
For the post at Sl.No. 4 (Junior Technical Assistant-Safety), the method of selection shall include Phase I consisting of an Objective type online test (70 marks) and Phase II, consisting of descriptive type Written Test.
