IISER Mohali recruitment: Online interview for temporary positions of Senior Project Associate & Project Associates in COVID-19 testing lab of IISER Mohali

Name and No. of Posts

  1. Senior Project Associates – 2 nos.
  2. Project Associates – 4 nos.

Qualification & Experience

  1. Senior Project Associates
    Qualification– Doctoral Degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/M.VSC
    OR MD/MS from a recognized University with experience in molecular Biotechnology techniques
    Experience – At least one-year hands-on experience of handling of RNA/DNA, real-time PCR, handling of viral cultures/clinical specimen
  2. Project Associates
    Qualification- Master’s degree in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Virology/M.VSc from a recognized University.
    Experience – At least one-year hands-on working experience in RND, Hospital/Pathology, knowledge of Molecular Biology techniques.

Salary/Stipend

  1. Senior Project Associates – Rs. 35,000/- (Ph.D. Thesis submitted) OR Rs.47,000/- (Ph.D.)
  2. Project Associates – Rs. 35,000/-

Mode of Selection

Selection will be done on the basis of online interview through skype.
