Central Power Research Institute Recruitment : Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) is an autonomous Society under the Ministry of Power engaged in Research and Development in the fields of generation, transmission, distribution and operation of electricity supply systems. CPRI acts as an apex body for initiating and coordinating applied research in electrical power engineering assisting the electrical industry in product development and in Quality Assurance.

Qualification and Experience
BE/B.Tech with First Class in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Metallurgy / Civil /Chemical Engineering / Computer Science with an aggregate minimum of 65% or 6.84/10 CGPA. Candidates applying with qualification of AMIE should have 65% marks or CGPA 6.84.
The candidates applying for the post essentially shall posses valid GATE score for the year 2019/2020.
Job Description
Testing and performance evaluation of power apparatus as per National & International standards. To take up research projects in the relevant areas, consultancy work, Operation & Maintenance and supervision.
Salary/Pay Scale
Level – 7 Rs. 44,900 – 142400
Upper Age Limit – 30, The upper age limit is the age as on the last date prescribed for registration of on- line application i.e. 06.11.2020.
Selection Procedure
The selection is on the basis of their valid GATE Score (2019/2020) in the order of merit.
